Some of our more notable projects include:
Adirondack Riverwalking and Forest Bathing
Offering restorative forest bathing, riverwalking, and sensory snowshoeing experiences, Adirondack Riverwalking chose Adirondack Website Design to provide a website that reflected the company character in an informal, welcoming format.
A local, neighborhood diner, with over 30 years of history, needed to showcase their restaurant and their menu offerings to locals and visitor’s alike. We carefully staged and photographed menu choices, personnel, and designed the website to help them enjoy many more years of success.
Self-Storage Saranac Lake
The newest storage unit in the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid area wanted to showcase their business and provide for online rental management for their customers. Adirondack Website Design provided the best looking and most functional storage unit website in the Adirondack region.
Dr. Lori Millis
Dr. Millis is a Glens Falls area psychologist who wanted a new website that reflected her connection to the natural beauty of the region, her client base and dedication to equine therapy. We redesigned her website to showcase her range of therapeutic offerings, and went to various locations to acquire the images and video used on the site.
Accessible Adirondack Tourism
As the only nonprofit 501(c)(3) solely dedicated to providing tourism information for people with disabilities, as well as resources for businesses to learn how to be more accessible in their physical locations, websites and social media pages, we were privileged to donate our work to this worthy cause. This website contains many custom listing and mapping features.
Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District
We worked with HCSWCD to pare down their initial, non-ADA compliant website from 155 pages to less than 40, reorganizing the entire structure and thereby providing the people of Hamilton County with an organized, useful and ADA compliant website that allows for content expansion and achieves governmental objectives.
Tri-Lakes Center for Independent Living
The Tri-Lakes Center for Independent Living (TLCIL) is a grass roots, not for profit, peer-run, civil rights organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities gain equal access to the communities they live in. Adirondack Website Design is proud to have developed their website and shares in their belief that everyone deserves to live well, and participate fully in the communities that they live in.
Town of Johnsburg
As the “Official Guide to Johnsburg, New York Tourism” this website was developed to showcase the attractions of the Adirondack’s Gore Mountain Region. First, we created the Town’s 50+ page Advertising, Marketing and Promotion Implementation Plan. We then engaged in photo and video shoots for the nearly 50 tourism assets the Town provided, culminating in the development of the website.
Adirondack Flying Service
Adirondack Website Design developed the website for Adirondack Flying Service which, for over 40 years, has been making air travel safer and simpler to and from the Adirondack Region of Northern NY to nearly all points on the East Coast, Canada and the Bahamas. Additionally, we produced and directed all of the aeiral footage and took many of the photos for this website.
Adirondack Golf Trail
Providing the only golf challenge in the Adirondacks, the Adirondack Golf Trail is 437 holes long made up of 245 par fours, 121 par threes, and 74 par fives. Over the Challenge, golfers will hike (or ride) 147,479 yards of golf course equaling nearly 83 miles of Adirondack beauty. The Trail is a self-paced golf challenge over the 32 golf courses inside the Adirondack Park’s designated Blue Line.
High Peaks Public Adjusters
High Peaks Public Adjusters are public insurance adjusters that work for you, not your insurance company, and are located right here in the Adirondack region. They can deal directly with your insurance provider, thoroughly interpreting every aspect of your policy and meeting all the requirements to document your claim. Adirondack Website Design created their website to showcase their professionalism and work within our area.
Serving for over 100 years as a true dining landmark nestled in the quiet, picturesque Adirondack hamlet of Schroon Lake, Pitkin’s Restaurant has the best-in-class casual dining and menu choices that will appeal to a variety of tastes. Adirondack Website Design built this website to reflect their new look, landmark status and refreshed menu offerings.
Broadway Lanes and
Slate Valley Lanes
Adirondack Website Design merged the web presences of two bowling centers into a single, all new website. Broadway Lanes and Slate Valley lanes family fun bowling centers feature virtual golf and games, tournament and league play and hundreds of other yearly activities in the lower Adirondack region. We produced and directed all the website videos and many of the images, created a new online booking system and programmed the Broadway Lanes lobby kiosk.
Congregation Shaara Tfille
Serving the Adirondack region, Adirondack Website Design developed the website for the largest Jewish congregation in Saratoga Springs, Congregation Shaara Tfille. An egalitarian, conservative Synagogue, as well as the Jewish Community Center, they are welcoming to everyone, including mixed-faith and LGBTQ families. In addition to the website design and programming we worked with their staff and members to produce and direct all of the background video and the majority of the imagery for their website.
Armstrong and Sons
While outside of the Adirondack region, as a market segment leader in the condenser and heat exchanger boiler tube removal and installation field, holding numerous patents and having been in business for over 80 years, they required a website that paired modern design elements while showcasing their vintage heritage. Adirondack Website Design delivered them a website which stands above all of their competitors.
The largest ferrous and non-ferrous recycling facility in the Adirondack region, Moore Recycling, required a new data center to support their expanding operations. Adirondack Website Design personnel provided IT consulting, configuration and installation of all server, firewall and remote networking components and rack hardware.
Adirondack Website Design created the only marketplace website dedicated solely to artisans, service providers and craftspeople within the Adirondack Region. By inspiring makers to produce, and enabling consumers to purchase, GenuineAdirondack.com provides a strong e-Commerce opportunity for Adirondack artisans and a website that consumers can trust. Buy local, buy Genuine Adirondack!
The Strand Theatre
When the Strand Theatre needed a design for it’s 2019 Grand Reopening for the restoration of the 1923 structure, we volunteered. We not only designed the entire print program but created more than 25 separate ads for contributors who could not produce their own designs. We are proud to continue to be a part of such a wonderful project.
